Feeling like the end of an era because Queen Elizabeth II has died. Like other people, I feel saddened by the news. Feels like my great grandmother has died, although I did not know my great grandmother and like the nation, I do feel a sense of loss and grief and part of a historical moment in time.
With everything I am experiencing, I wanted to acknowledge Queen Elizabeth II and say thank you ma'am for your service to the country and your people.
Hyde Park opened up an area for people to leave floral tributes. I felt this was the right location for me to lay flowers and honour Queen Elizabeth II .
In remembrance of the Queen, I took a walk down to Portobello old antique market and bought myself and cup and saucer from one of the second hand stall's. For the rest of the weekend, like everyone else I watched everything possible about the Queen and drank green tea from my cup and saucer because I am not a fan of normal tea! My friend Vanessa also bought me a cute Alice in Wonderland tea infuser! Thank you Vanessa :)

Daffodils will help me be kind and more grateful, smile with love, so let's get on with life.
Daffodils will be my rebirth, my new beginnings that are joyful in colour, so let's get get on with life.
