Today I had my TORS operation, base of tongue which is for the removal of of my primary cancer. I arrived in the hospital at 7am and did not get operated on until 11am. This time I was more prepared and had items to keep me occupied.
After the operation, I was taken to the Intensive Care Unit, ICU and I felt fine because of all the medication I did not feel any pain. My doctor who performed the operation explained they had cut out the tumour and now was time to heal from the operation.
Rob visited me and stayed with me during the evening. Nurse Jules took good care of me too.
